Holidays Partners will be paid 1 ½ times their hourly base rate for all hours worked on any of MedFlight’s eight (8) designated holidays. Partners .6 or higher may request 24 hrs. of PTO per holiday whether or not they worked on the holiday. Eligible for holiday pay upon hire 100% Employer Paid
Paid Time Off (PTO)

Staff: 0-3 years – accrue 160 hours* per calendar year

3-6 years – accrue 200 hours* per calendar year

>6 years – accrue 224 hours* per calendar year

Management: Accrue 240 hours* per calendar year

* These numbers are for full-time staff.
Part-time partner accrues on a pro-rated basis.

Sick Leave Accrue 48 hours* per calendar year to be used for personal illness or injury or to care for an immediate family member due to illness or injury* Part-time partner accrues on a pro-rated basis .6 FTE and above eligible to accrue after first 90 days of continuous service 100% Employer Paid
Employee Assistance Program Confidential counseling service for personal problems for partners and their immediate family (three free sessions per year for partner and each member of immediate family) All partners eligible upon hire 100% Employer Paid
Short Term Disability 24 weeks of coverage at 60% of weekly earnings after 7 day waiting period .6 FTE or above eligible first of the month following employment 100% Partner Paid
Long Term Disability 40%, 50% or 60% (your choice if elected) of weekly earnings after six months of disability – coverage continues to age 67 .6 FTE or above eligible first of the month following employment 100% Partner Paid
Life Insurance Life insurance equal to two times annual base salary .6 FTE or above eligible first of the month following employment 100% Employer Paid
Accidental Death / Dismemberment Insurance Lump sum payment up to a maximum of 2 times annual salary for bodily injuries which are covered under schedule of insured losses All partners eligible first of the month following employment 100% Employer Paid
Professional Liability Insurance Employer provided medical professional liability insurance for acts within the scope of employment or while performing duties related to MedFlight’s business All medical crew partners are eligible upon hire 100% Employer Paid
Vision Insurance Voluntary insurance through Vision Service Plan for eye exams, frames, contacts, etc. We offer a high and low plan for coverage. .6 FTE or above eligible first of the month following employment 100% Partner Paid
Medical Insurance Medical insurance is provided through Anthem which offers 4 different plans. 2 PPO plans with low deductibles, 1 PPO plan with HRA, and an HSA plan. .6 FTE or above eligible first of the month following hire MedFlight gives a bucket of money for the partner to elect coverage. Anything above that amount is payroll deducted. Spousal Surcharge $291/pay *tobacco users -$75.00/pay
Medical Insurance Health Reimbursement Arrangement The plan allows you to be reimbursed by MedFlight for a certain portion of the deductibles which you have to meet under our group medical plan which are incurred by you or you dependents. 0.6 FTE or above eligible first of the month following hire and only if enrolled in the health insurance 100% Employer Paid
Dental Insurance Dental Insurance is provided through MetLife and is available for partners and their dependents. There are 3 plans for you to choose from. .6 FTE or above eligible first of the month following hire MedFlight provides a bucket of money for you to elect dental coverage. Anything above that, is at the partners cost thru payroll.
Company Funded Pension Plan Employer contributes an amount equal to 6% of partner’s salary into pension plan.  Partner is 100% vested after three years of service in which they worked a minimum of 1,000 hours. All partners who are 21 years of age who work 1,000 hours or more a year, eligible after one year of employment Employer contributes an amount equal to 6% of annual salary. No cost to partners.
Voluntary 403b Pension Plans Partners may contribute to 403b pension plan in addition to Company funded plan. Contributions are taken through payroll deductions.  The affiliated companies are VALIC, ING, and MetLife. All partners eligible upon hire 100% Partner Paid
Direct Deposit Paychecks automatically deposited to partner’s bank account All partners required upon hire No Cost
Credit Union Partners eligible for membership with OhioHealth Credit Union  (savings, checking, credit cards, loans, Christmas Club, etc.) All partners eligible upon hire and persons sharing same household. To join call: (614) 737-6030 No Cost
Education Assistance Full-time medical crew or communication staff (.9 or 1.0 FTE) can receive $250.00 per calendar year. Upon completion of Introductory (probationary) period. 100% Employer Paid
Supplemental Insurance Partners may choose to elect from a variety supplemental insurances. During open enrollment with FTE of .6 or above 100% Partner Paid
Flexible Spending Account Partners can elect to have insurance premiums deducted on a pre-tax basis. May also elect pre-tax deductions for dependent care reimbursement and/or unreimbursed medical expenses. During open enrollment with FTE of .6 or above 100% Partner Paid
