My career began as a junior firefighter nearly 26 years ago. That experience eventually led me to school and a position with Coshocton County EMS (CCEMS). During my time at CCEMS, I served as a paramedic and field supervisor.
In 1999, the Coshocton County Commissioners asked MedFlight to assume control of the EMS service. Shortly thereafter, I was asked to serve as the EMS Director. I served in that role until 2008. My time at CCEMS was some of the most rewarding work I have completed to date.
In 2008, I was offered the base director and flight paramedic position for MedFlight 6 in McConnelsville, Ohio. During my time at MedFlight 6, I also completed my undergraduate degree in Business Management. As with many things in this industry, change remains constant. The original base director position ultimately ended up evolving into a regional director position and oversight of operations in southern Ohio.
Throughout my time as a regional director, I completed my Masters of Business Management in Healthcare Administration. I have just recently moved into the role of Vice President of Field Operations. I am excited to begin the next journey of my career by working beside some of the brightest minds this industry has to offer. I am truly blessed to be a small part of it.
